THE MINISTER OF HEALTH DR. SABIN NSANZIMANA PLEDGES FULL SUPPORT TO RMS LTD
The Minister of Health Dr. Sabin Nsanzimana & Dr. Yvan Butera, Minister of State in the Ministry of Health have pledged full support to the Rwanda Medical Supply Ltd in a bid to strongly improve the health supply chain.
This was made during their working visit to Rwanda Medial Supply Ltd in a meeting with the senior management other managers about RMS operations, registered achievements and future projects.
The Minister explained that his Ministry was looking forward to work with RMS management to devise possible means of making medicines cheaper and readily available to Rwandan citizens across the country.
The Dr. Yvan Butera, Minister of State in the Ministry of Health noted that the Ministry was optimistic to see health products accessed by all citizens at affordable prices around the country.
The Chief Executive Officer Pie Harerimana on his part explained that RMS had achieved a lot since its establishment as a government company in line with the procurement of and distribution of health commodities at affordable prices and was doing all it could to ensure consistency through digitalization of the processes involved.
The CEO also shared some of the key projects for the company that included construction of a modern warehouse, digitalization of RMS processes, acquisition of trucks for transportation of medical products to clients as well as employee capacity building in order to deliver quality and professional services to clients.
